missingWrote a review on Dec 06charming gardenstrategic locationlimited parking
The garden/patio area offers a decent spot to unwind after a long day and adds a bit of charm to the overall experience.
Parking can get tricky since there are only two spaces available, making it a scramble if the place is full. The building's age shows with steep stairs that might not suit everyone, and the noise from other guests traveling up and down made for a restless night. it felt like some areas of the decor could use a refresh, bearing a bit too much of that ‘tired’ vibe for the price paid, especially with an underwhelming breakfast scene that was quite expensive.

Reasons to love it – and reasons not to
A delicious breakfast tailored to your liking awaits. The owners provide a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel at home.
The decor in some areas could use a fresh touch, and noise from adjacent rooms might disrupt your sleep.

If you’re a fan of epic sandwiches, you’re in for a treat! The local eats near The Postie are off the charts, and the breakfast spread certainly hits the spot! Plus, the bed was so comfy it felt like sleeping on a cloud.
Now, I have to say, the door to the room was pretty thin. you could hear everything in the hallway, which kept us up a bit. A touch of soundproofing would make this place shine even brighter.

fantastic view of the paddock, excellent Sky TV access, picturesque location
The parking situation is a nightmare with only two spots available!!! Noise from adjacent bedrooms is unacceptable for a restful night and there are areas in the decoration that look unfinished or tired!!!

the postie has such a cozy atmosphere. lisa's service was absolutely outstanding, making us feel right at home. the breakfast was a highlight—piping hot and made with quality ingredients, especially the homemade jam. our room was clean and had super comfy beds with a lovely view of the countryside. overall, it's a great place to unwind.
the only downside was the limited parking availability.

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the little extras like a fluffy robe and organic coffee in my room. The serene garden offered lovely spots to unwind, and I especially enjoyed the cozy seating by the flowers. Just a heads up, the parking is limited, so get there early to snag a spot! 😊

Warm hospitality from Lisa greets you upon arrival, making you feel at home. The spacious room features tasteful decor and ample storage, ensuring a comfortable stay. The ensuite was a highlight with both a bath and shower, perfect for relaxation after a day's travel. Breakfast, though at an additional cost, is worth it, especially with delicious regional jams that add a special touch. A quiet location provided a restful night, although the lack of soundproofing could be improved for a more peaceful experience.
