The building's age shows with steep stairs that might not suit everyone, and the noise from other guests traveling up and down made for a restless night. it felt like some areas of the decor could use a refresh, bearing a bit too much of that ‘tired’ vibe for the price paid, especially with an underwhelming breakfast scene that was quite expensive.

Now, I have to say, the door to the room was pretty thin. you could hear everything in the hallway, which kept us up a bit. A touch of soundproofing would make this place shine even brighter.

the postie has such a cozy atmosphere. lisa's service was absolutely outstanding, making us feel right at home. the breakfast was a highlight—piping hot and made with quality ingredients, especially the homemade jam. our room was clean and had super comfy beds with a lovely view of the countryside. overall, it's a great place to unwind.
